A Khatam Sharif (ختم شریف) or Esal e Sawab ( ایصال ثواب ) is a fixed devotional prayer which consists of reciting Qur’an & Durood درود تاج شریف and then conveying the blessings and rewards earned to the deceased Muslim Ummah. Verses from the folowing Surah are read 067 - Surah Al Mulk (سُوۡرَةُ المُلک) 109 - Surah Al Kafiroon (سُوۡرَةُ الکافِرون) 112 - Surah Al Ikhlas (سُوۡرَةُ الإخلاص) 113 - Surah Al Falaq (سُوۡرَةُ الفَلَق) 114 - Surah An Nas (سُوۡرَةُ النَّاس) 001 - Surah Al Fatiha (سُوۡرَةُ الفَاتِحَة) 002 - Surah Al Baqara (سُوۡرَةُ البَقَرَة) 007 - Surah Al Araf (سُوۡرَةُ الاٴعرَاف) 021 - Surah Al Anbiya (سُوۡرَةُ الاٴنبیَاء) 033 - Surah Al Ahzab (سُوۡرَةُ الاٴحزَاب) 037 - Surah As Saafat (سُوۡرَةُ الصَّافات)
